Pabulum 60's & 70's Memory Morning and School Choir
Thank you to The Friends of Spooner Row for organising the annual Easter disco. There was a great turn out from nearly all the children and they all had fun playing the Easter themed games. The create an Easter bunny competiton showed off the children's creativity but the highlight of the evening was the 'hanging donut' game which the children loved.
Many thanks to Kelly and all her team for another fun filled evening.
Today we celebrated Easter at Spooner Row Church. All the children joined in singing our Easter songs beautifully.
Badger Class told the story of 'The Three Trees'. Fox Class recited an Easter poem, Squirrel Class showed us their lovely handwriting Easter eggs and Oak Class asked and answered questions they wanted to find out about the Easter story.

We had great fun dressed in our pyjamas on Children in Need day.. We enjoyed a mini fete in the afternoon. We have managed to raise over £300 which is brilliant!!
Well done and thank you to you all.
Today our shoeboxes were collected from school to be sent to children in other countries who wouldn't otherwise receive any Christmas gifts. School Council were overwhelmed by how many we collected an amazing 42 shoeboxes, 8 more than last year. Thank you to all parents who supported this appeal this year.
We welcomed Matt Furness into school on Wednesday and all enjoyed a drumming session on Wednesday. Stanley, Maisie, Bea, Nathan, Noah and Luke all joined in with Up Town Funk!
All children have received a letter with details of drum lessons - please return to the office by 30th September if you are interested.
