Welcome to Spooner Row!

It is my absolute pleasure and privilege to welcome you as Executive Headteacher to Spooner Row Primary School. We are a thriving primary school based in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, just outside of Wymondham in the village of Spooner Row. Built in 1874 and opened a year later, we recently celebrated our 150th Anniversary as a school, still going strong all these years on!

We are very proud of our old, Victorian building and historical roots, but in recent years have sought to modernise and develop our school environment to ensure the children have the very best experiences and facilities they can. We also make excellent use of the community council playing field adjacent to the school, with sports day, lunchtime play and other sporting activities. 

We are so incredibly proud of all of our children at Spooner Row, where each and every child is valued for all that they do. Socially, emotionally and academically, all take strong and positive steps forward on their learning journey with us at Spooner Row each year, supported by our excellent team of staff. Crucially, the core of our school is full of happiness, joy and a special sense of togetherness as we work closely with families, children and the wider community to achieve the very best for all, preparing those who matter most for the next step in their learning journey.
