Anti-Bullying Ambassador Training Day
On Wednesday 12th October, some Year 4, 5 and 6 children attended a day of training to start their journey to becoming anti-bullying ambassadors for the school. The training was run by The Diana Award team and developed the children's understanding of what bullying behaviour is, the different types of bullying behaviour and how they can support someone who might be experiencing bullying.
The children were fantastic and shared lots of great ideas and learnt lots of excellent skills. They talked to other children from different schools and shared their own experiences.
This is only the beginning of the Anti-Bullying Ambassador journey as now the children will help drive a school wide initiative to help develop an active anti-bullying ethos in school and campaign on topics such as respect, wellbeing, community action and online safety. Watch this space!
