Badger Class - 09.06.23

It has been a pleasure to welcome Badger Class back from half term. It has been a busy week with lots of learning going on. The children are studying non-fiction writing in English as they explore non-chronological reports using Earth Shattering Events by Robin Jacobs as our focus text. 

In maths, Year 4 children have been focussing on increasing their fluent time tables and Year 3 are working on measure including mass and volume. 

In DT this week, the children were studying mechanisms and mechanical systems including levers and pivots. They created some fantastic cardboard mechanical mechanisms and were so creative and resilient in their approach.
