Badger Class - 21.04.23

It has been a pleasure to welcome back Badger Class after the Easter break. All the children have enjoyed getting stuck into our new class novel - Secrets of a Sun King - and shared some excellent predictions and insights about the story so far. It is great to see them using their knowledge of Ancient Egyptians from last term and applying it our literacy learning. 

In P.E., the children enjoyed the start of the cricket coaching sessions and did some excellent throwing and catching practice as well as hitting off the tee. Fingers crossed for some better weather next week so we can get out on the field. 

In science, we have started learning about plants and the children looked at the different parts of the plant and the function of the roots, stem, leaves, seeds and flowers. Badger Class worked well in small groups to create a drama presentation to explain this.
