Badger Class - Spring Week 4

Another super week of home learning and work in school for some children. The children have been writing their own adventure narratives inspired by The Whale. It has been brilliant to see the children applying the writing skills they have worked on over the last few weeks. Lots of future authors in the making - watch out J.K. Rowling!

There has also been a lot of excellent maths work going on with Year 4 recapping and reinforcing their understanding of area and Year 3 exploring the addition and subtraction of money.

In other areas, the children have been doing some fantastic science work on staying safe in the sun and designed some very cool sun hats and sunglasses. During our art lesson, children explored different media in their sketch books and enjoyed getting creative. Finally, the children also learnt about the water cycle and produced models, powerpoint presentations and videos to explain it. What a busy week it has been!
