Badger Class - Summer - Week 7
Badger Class have had a busy week before half term. They concentrated so well on their grammar and reading assessments. I was really impressed with their positive attitude and sustained focus.
In maths, we have continued to look at time and moved on to thinking about digital time and using 24 hour time. The children are really beginning to grasp the concept and we will continue to work on this after half term.
Badger Class finished their fantastic 3D models of Formentera in art and enjoyed playing with the new playground equipment. They were very sensible about suggesting rules to make sure we take care of the new toys.
I was so impressed with the latest homework from Badger Class and I awarded them all the 'Headteacher Award' this week because the creativity, thought and effort that had gone into their games was amazing. The children loved playing their games and it made us really think about our money decisions. From football contracts and animal costs to monopoly and top trumps - we had it all!
Congratulations to our other award winners this week:
Erin and Nellie - Sports Star
Finn - Star Reader
Happy half term everyone :)
