Diwali Day

On Tuesday, we celebrated Diwali - the festival of lights. We watched a video of a little boy going to the  Hindu temple, making sweets for his family, lighting divas and listening to the story of Rama and Sita. We then had a go at creating our own rangoli patterns, building temples out of bricks, making clay divas and mango lassi, and tasting naan bread, poppadoms and mango chutney.
