Fox Class Autumn Week 14 2021
I can't believe I am writing my last Blog at Spooner Row! I have had an amazing 12 and a bit years at this school and it has been far more than 'just a job' for me. My two children have been very much part of school life since they were babies and I have made so many wonderful friends along the way. I will really miss all the staff, children and parents but I am glad that Freya will still be here, so it is not a full 'goodbye'! Spooner Row will always have a very special place in my heart. Thank you so much for all the amazing messages, cards, emails and gifts that I have received over the last few weeks. It means a lot.
We have had a great last week with so many lovely extra activities. I hope you have all managed to watch our Nativity play now and that you enjoyed it. We have done craft activities, watched a live 'Jack and the Beanstalk' panto, watched Badger's play, enjoyed a Christmas lunch and then the party lunch today and we will be having our Christmas parties this afternoon.
Our Star of the Terms are Adeline (year 1) and Arun (year 2). This was also an emotional event in our class! These two have both done amazingly well this term, but as I told the class, I could have given it to any of the children. They are all stars. Ella W was pulled 'out of the hat' for the golden star.
Thank you again for all being amazingly supportive parents. Keep in touch and have a really lovely Christmas.
