Fox Class Autumn Week 2 2021

Fox Class has had a busy second week and I continue to be really impressed with how well the class are settling.  

We have been learning about nursery rhymes in Literacy and they have had fun performing some of these well known rhymes.  They have also been writing their own versions of some of them.  

We have been working on place value in Maths and the Year 1s have been getting to grips with doing some of their work in Maths books.  

The children have been enjoying doing Dance and realPE in PE sessions, as well as our Daily Mile session.  

We learnt about the different groups of animals this week in Science and researched where we might find certain animals.  We have also enjoyed German, Music and Art and Topic with Mrs Gray.

Our certificate winners this week were all for their summer journals - Oliver, Emily, Henry and Austin.  Well done to you four, but well done to everyone who did a journal.  They are a really lovely record of your summer and I loved reading them all.
