Safer Internet Day - Tuesday 7th February 2023

This week, Oak Class focused on internet safety, especially on Tuesday which was Safer Internet Day. They explored the great things about the internet but also the risks. Through looking at different scenarios, the class discussed the importance of what personal information you post online, the importance of secure passwords and also being able to spot a scam message/email/pop up. They also learnt about the age restrictions on games/apps.

Throughout their learning, the importance of communicating with parents/carers about their online use at home was emphasized so please take the time to ask your child about what they learnt this week. The class were fantastic with their discussions and enthusiastic in their learning.
