Science & Art Day 

Today, Oak Class went to Wymondham High School to experience Science and Art learning, in a high school environment. In Science, the class enjoyed exploring the PH values of different liquids, learning all about acidic, alkaline and neural substances. As you can see from the photos below, all the children really enjoyed being able to carry out investigations in a proper science laboratory.

The other part of the trip was spent in the Art Department. They were shown some work by the famous artist David Hockney and taught how to use pastels correctly to get texture and tone. All the children produced amazing pieces of artwork, which they want to finish in class next week.
