Oak Class Blog - 11th November 2022
This week, Oak Class continued their English learning based on the book 'Clockwork' with a focus on writing a conversation between two of the characters. It has been multiplication week in Maths, where the children have reviewed and extended their knowledge of grid, extended and column multiplication.
Science
Oak class completed their learning on 'Forces' by exploring air and wind resistance. They really enjoyed the practical side of science this week, especially dropping their spinners from heights.
PE
This week, Year 5 started to learn the skills to play netball. They showed brilliant team work and developed their skills over the course of the session. Meanwhile, Year 6 are being super swimmers and impressing their instructors each week.
Children in Need
Next Friday is Children in Need day. The children can come to school in their pyjamas and make a contribution of £1 to Children in Need. Oak Class will be running activity stalls, which they will be devising next week in class.
Have a lovely weekend.
