Oak Class Blog - 16th September 2022

Welcome to the first Oak Class blog of the new school year. All the children have come back to school enthusiastic and ready to learn. They have all settled into this new Oak Class very well and are embracing all the learning challenges. 

Art Week 

Oak Class started the year off with a focus on our Art Curriculum. They learnt about the surrealist movement and the artist associated with this style of art such as Joan Miro, Salvador Dali, Paul Klee and Rene Magritte. The class then explored creating their own surrealist type artwork using word and sentence prompts. 

 Oak Class Residential

Oak Class are very excited about our up-coming residential to Thorpe Woodlands from Monday 26th September to Wednesday 28th September. This week you should have received an email on Parent Mail with some final instructions. Your child will also have a paper copy of this for you to see.
