Oak Class Blog - 22nd October 2021
I can't believe we are at half term already - what a busy start of the year Oak class have experienced. I think they would all say that their highlight of this half term was our residential in September. Today Oak Class all looked 'spooktacular' as they dressed up for Halloween.
Learning This Week
The children in Oak Class carried out a series of assessments this week, where they showed resilience, determination and positivity. What brilliant learning attributes to have.
The children also explored some inspirational black athletes past and present as part of our Black History Month Learning. We focused on Dame Kelly Holmes, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill and Marcus Rashford. As you can see from the photograph below, the children produced some amazing work.
PE
Oak Class have continued to excel in PE this half term. This week they put all the lacrosse and cognitive skills (from Real PE) into mini tournaments. As you can see from the photos below, their team spirit was amazing and Miss Curtis was so impressed with the skills they exhibited, especially in lacrosse, which was a new game to the class 7 weeks ago.
