Our Castle Day

Today was our Castle Day. We all came dressed as knights and re-enacted The Battle of Hastings. Mrs Newbery was impressed with how much information we had remembered. We also took part in a quest where we had to work in teams to rescue knights captured by the mean king. In the afternoon, we had a jousting competition, a banquet and took part in some medieval dancing. We particularly enjoyed the chicken drumsticks, bread, cheese, apples and carrots.
