Spring term - week 8

At the end of last week, Oak Class took on the challenge to complete 100 'somethings' in memory of Captain Sir Tom Moore. The photos below show the huge array of activities they took part in:

I would also like to say well done to Oak class for writing some wonderful stories inspired by our class book 'Cosmic' by Frank Cottrell-Boyce.  They were really fantastic and I have loved reading through them.

We had a very fun World Book Day where members of the class dressed up as different book characters on our zoom sessions.  We also played some games, made some bookmarks and had a book cover quiz!

For art this week, Oak Class used some of nature to create some wonderful pieces of artwork:

As we come to the end of this (and hopefully the last) period of remote learning, I just want to say how very proud I am of every single member of Oak Class.  They have absolutely worked their socks off and risen to every challenge they have been faced with! Although they have been working so well at home, I must say I am over the moon that we will all be reunited in the classroom from Monday!
