The Little Red Hen and more ....

This week we have been learning the story of The Little Red Hen. We have drawn a story map together and have been practising saying the story out loud using actions and voices for the characters. We have dressed up and acted out the story on the outdoor stage and made stick puppets to use indoors. We have also made mobilo windmills. Next week we will be trying different types of bread and making our own.

We have made clay faces on trees and used lots of natural materials to make the different features. Mrs Newbery was really impressed. We also worked together to make a scarecrow to stop the birds from eating the little red hen’s seeds.
