Week 3

We have had another fun filled week in Squirrel Class.

In phonics we have learned the sounds and actions for s, a, t, p and have blended them together to read the words as, at, sat, tap, pat. We have played games to help us orally blend and segment words.

In maths we have worked on sorting and matching. We have looked at similarities and differences and have sorted a collection of objects in different ways. We have also practised subitising to 5.

We made milkshake on Monday and had our first go at making toast on Thursday. We used tongs to take the toast out and buttered and cut it ourselves. We were all very sensible.

We have continued our realPE lessons and have practised different footwork patterns including hopping, jumping, galloping and hopscotching.
