Whatever Next!

This week we have been looking at the book Whatever Next! We have made junk model rockets, straw rockets, raced balloon rockets, found out how rockets work, acted out the first moon landing and found out about the moon. We know that it orbits the earth, doesn’t make its own light, is made of rock and has lots of craters made by rocks crashing into it.

We have also read the books Man on the Moon (A day in the life of Bob) and Aliens Love Underpants. We have painted pictures of aliens, decorated pants with different patterns, made alien pencil toppers and written descriptions of aliens.
